In early 2018, the Ministry of Commerce in Myanmar announced that processes for foreign companies which invest in Myanmar’s retailers and wholesaler will be streamlined. As as the country moves its efforts towards increasing foreign investments, steps such as this will be taken to facilitate easier, hassle-free trade for foreign investors.
